32 weeks

Not too much longer to wait to find out if we are having a boy or girl! I hate to rush this pregnancy along but I am uncomfortable and ready to see my baby! This one seems to have stronger movements and I think it's bigger than the others. At my last ultrasound, the baby was measuring in the 80% percentile.

I went into the office at my 31st week for contractions. This is about the time I went in with both Jack and Luke. I was having contractions every 3-4 minutes lasting 1 1/2 minutes and they were uncomfortable! I drank about 32oz. of water and it didn't seem to make a difference. So in I went. By the time they set me up on the NST machine, the contractions stopped. I didn't have one! It was a good thing but I felt a little silly. Dr. Taavon wasn't in so another dr. checked me out. My cervix was long and closed so she did a fibronectin test, which came back negative. Since then I'll have spurts of contractions that stop if I drink a lot. I guess I'm dehydrated.

Eric and I decided to take a trip together before the baby comes. We'll be going to Nags Head the last week in March. The boys will stay with their great aunt, Nene. I am really excited about it. I've never been to the Outer Banks and I don't think Eric and I have been away together since before Jack was born! How sad is that?! I'll be 33 weeks then so everything should be fine.

At my last appointment at 30 weeks, the dr. said he thought the baby's head was pretty much down. It was at an angle with the head near my hip. I'm hoping when I go this week, the head will be in position. Ok, time for some pictures! These are of the last ultrasound around 28 weeks. I also posted a belly picture of 31 weeks.

22w 6d

Well here I am almost 23 weeks and I haven't written in months! I keep meaning to but haven't. I'll post some pictures from the ultrasound back at 18 weeks. I didn't find out the gender but Eric did look. I think he thinks we are having a boy. He looked at the 4d ultrasound and is convinced he sees boy parts. I think he's crazy because those parts are obviously toes. LOL

I had my 23 week appointment today and everything is good. I gained 4lbs in a month, bp was good, heart rate was 143 and I'm feeling good movement. Next time I go in on Feb 10 I will have a growth ultrasound, diabetes testing, and see the dr. Yay! After that visit I think I'll start going every 2 weeks. Whoa.

The things that are different this time around are worse heartburn and headaches. I see a chiropractor every week or so and she helps with the back pain, tailbone, etc. It's definitely harder to keep up with the boys. Luke wants to be held a lot and seems needy. He also would keep nursing if he could! He is a mess. I also want to work on getting the boys to sleep in their own bed all night. We may have a king-sized bed but it's not big enough for 3 kids and 2 adults.

No names really. We have some that we like but nothing definite. We haven't spent too much time talking about it yet. I guess we'd better get more focused on it.

Ok, these are a few pictures from the last ultrasound at 18 weeks.

The next picture is of me at 22 weeks compared to me with Luke at 22 weeks. I am in the pink shirt with Luke and grey with this baby. I feel much higher this time cause breathing is more difficult. I might be just a tad.

I guess that is it for now!

NT Scan

I am so bad at keeping up with this Blog. So sorry baby!! Know that you are loved by us and your brothers cannot wait to hold you. if you are a girl, Jack wants to name you Annabelle (after a girl in his kindergarten class) and if you are a boy, he wants to name you Dreek (after a character in a book). Don't worry, we wouldn't do that to you. ;)

I am 13w5d today and still feeling sick and having bad headaches. Hopefully it will let us soon. We had our NT scan to look for signs of Downs and everything looks great! Very low risk for Downs and Trisotomy 18. I started feeling the baby around 12 weeks and felt it for a week. Haven't since then though. Bummer.

Here is an ultrasound pic. It's not as good as Jack's or Luke's but you can see that sweet baby. I go back on Dec 15 for the anatomy scan but we are waiting to find out what we're having. The heart rate has been around 154 if that means anything. :)

I'm pregnant! 7 Weeks 6 Days

Well, I'm pregnant! :) You can already tell that I'm having my third baby because I haven't been able to even start this blog until now. Prior to this baby I had three chemical pregnancies in a row: May, June, July 2014. I was referred to a Reproductive Endocrinologist. I was told I had PCOS and was put on Metformin. My first month trying on that drug, I was pregnant and here I am at almost 8 weeks! My due date is May 13th. The baby's heart rate was 167. Luke's was 169 at 9 weeks.

My morning sickness started around 5 weeks and hasn't let up. It's killing me. Ugh, It's all day everyday and I feel like I want to throw-up constantly. I'm eating a lot of biscuits and hash browns. So yummy.

This is a picture of our little bean at 5 weeks 6 days who, by-the-way, I'm sure is a boy. The baby is the bright spot at the bottom of the yolk sac. During that visit we saw a very faint heart beat.

and this is a picture from today at 7 weeks 6 days. :) He's grown so much! ;)
